About Me
I’m a first-generation Puerto Rican and Mexican Latina and bilingual therapist based in Illinois. My work is informed by an understanding of cultural context, generational dynamics, and the ways broader social and political stressors can shape emotional well-being. In today’s climate, many people are navigating heightened stress, uncertainty, and pressure while trying to remain functional and resilient.
I work with adults who often appear capable and steady on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected internally. I support clients navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, complex trauma, relational patterns, and enmeshment, particularly when these experiences are influenced by family expectations, identity, or cultural pressures.
My approach is relational and brain- and body-informed. I integrate CBT, mindfulness, grounding, somatic regulation, attachment-focused work, and inner-child healing to support emotional regulation, self-understanding, and meaningful change. Therapy is collaborative and paced with care, offering a supportive space to explore patterns, build insight, and move toward greater balance.
I have particular experience supporting Latinx individuals, neurodivergent clients, highly sensitive people, and first- and second-generation immigrants navigating family, cultural, and generational dynamics. I welcome clients of all genders, sexual orientations, and identities and strive to provide a culturally responsive, affirming, and compassionate therapeutic space.

Experience & Community Engagement:
I bring over 8 years of experience across diverse mental health settings, including community mental health, school-based services, advocacy and mentorship programs, and intensive outpatient care. This background allows me to understand how clinical, cultural, and systemic factors shape people’s experiences across different levels of support.
I remain mindful of the barriers many individuals face in accessing mental health care—such as insurance limitations and cost of living—and am committed to being a supportive resource within the community, helping to normalize therapy and bridge gaps in care.
